ALAN MORPHEW
Alan was called into a recording session at Capitol Records Studios to sing in a choir of 100 singers. The recording was for Neil Young's CD titled "Living with War". Alan is recording His third (self released) Solo CD

John is President of The Utica Music Alliance & Resource Center, Inc. (UMARC). UMARC is a non-profit organization designed to encourage and promote the creation of original music in the Mohawk Valley. John is also finishing up the recording of his next release.

JOY ADLER
On Tour of her 3rd (self released) CD "Postcards" 2008 In 1999, Joy was presented with an award from "The Rebellious Dreamer Foundation". This grant is given to women of exceptional talent and provides them with mentoring and financial support. She used this award to produce her CD of critically acclaimed original material, aptly named; Rebellious Dreamer.

KAYDI JOHNSON

ORACLE
Hailing from Ontario Canada a Tribute band to Jethro Tull as well as serving up some fine original Progressive Rock and are winners of best tribute band (Jethro Tull) 2008 Niagara Music Awards

Pete McRae has recorded and performed with Connie Stevens, Eddie Jobson (Roxy Music; Zappa), Mr. Mister, Peter Kingsbery (Cock Robin), David Baerwald, The Rembrandts and Stan Ridgway.
Napoleon Black has performed and recorded with Denise King, Jamaaladeen Tacuma.
Jason O'Mara keeps a busy schedule working as a freelance saxophonist, clarinetist, flautist, oboist, composer, arranger, recording-engineer, and producer. Jason has performed with Natalie Cole, James Moody, Randy Brecker, and The Temptations.
Todd Horton is a trumpeter, flugelhornist, composer and producer who has produced albums for many artists in various genres as well as his own boutique label Soulsearch Music. Todd led his own groups in New York City for thirteen years, was first lieutenant to famed altoist Arnie Lawrence for eight years, performing with greats such as Herman Foster, Winston Grennan, Hiram Bullock, David Tronzo, Vernon Reed, Billy Bang, Rashid Ali, Maceo Parker, Joan Osborne, Blues Traveler, Richard Bona, African Blue Note, Badal Roy and Bernard Purdie among many others. He was also a member of The Spin Doctors, Buddy Miles Experience, The Neville Family Affair, and Ani Difranco's traveling circus and freakshow. And the list goes on

TODD EVANS
Todd recorded 2 albums with Celtic Folk Metal Band Tempest (Magana Cartar) Tempest "Live at the Philadelphia Folk Festival" 2000 and "Balance" 2001 as well as his self released CD "Lines on the Wall" 2002

Winner Of the 2007 Art and Music Festival Autographed Guitar

This years winner of the Art and Music Festival Autographed Guitar raffle was won by 9 year old Max Benman of Wrentham, MA.

The Guitar was signed by all the talented musicians that performed at the festival on August 25, 2007 form local favorites like J. Schnitt, Rocky Graz as well the late Tony Cavagnaro of The Buddhahood and many Nationally recognized artist like Fireworks and Amanda Shaw .

According to the parents Max Benman. Max was so thrilled to have won the guitar from the Clinton Art and Music Festival this past August. We were visiting his grandparents who live in Whitesboro. When we took a day out to visit the festival. Max takes guitar lessons each week, he can't wait to show his friends and teacher Chad. Congratulations Max! We hope you enjoy your new guitar and come back to visit again next year..

A TRIBUTE TO TONY CAVAGNARO

We were devastated to learn that one of the musicians Tony Cavagnaro of the band The BUDDHAHOOD from Rochester, NY was killed in a car accident on Friday September 7, 2007 on his way to perform at a show, he is survived by his wife Jan and his son Calvin. Tony and his band the BUDDAHOOD were one of the highlights of the 2^nd Annual Clinton Art and Music Festival performing on our main stage (the Gazebo) at this year's festival.

2nd Annual Clinton Art & Music Fest A Success

The smell of Cotton Candy and BBQ filled the air as year two of The Clinton Art and Music Festival rolled along. The festival offered so much more than its freshman year. Even more artists - From Pottery - Metal Sculptures - Paintings and more. Artwork came from as far away as Tanzania. Over 72 musical performances at 11 venues. Music ranging from Classical - Bluegrass - Children's music - Pop even Metal. Musicians came as far north as Canada, and as far west as California. Where else could you go to enjoy a day of great quality art and music for 14 solid hours. All for free!

Unlike many other festivals this festival was about family's, friends and the community at large. Some of the highlights: Adults and Children dancing in the park, pre-teens kids got to make there own festival t-shirts. Other highlights that many people raved about, was meeting this year's featured Artists Eric Whitfield at his booth on Park Row. Musical Highlights included: Amanda Shaw -The Buddahood - Kaleidoscope Songs (children's music) and Kristen Capoalino and the All Star Jam at the Village Tavern. There were book signings a Drive-in Movie (the Princess Bride) which was again provided by Hamilton College, loads of great art to see and buy. There were Raffles for Paintings, a Harley Davidson Motor Cycle a Festival Guitar signed by all the musical performers and Italian Ices to take off the heat of the day.

A great time was had by all that had attended. Here is what Alan Morphew a musician from California had to say "The festival ROCKED! I thought last year was awesome... but this one was in a different league. I can't wait for next year"

Terri Jones of Ilion NY wrote us a note and it said, "I attended the '07 fest with my daughter and we really enjoyed it. Is there a fest in the works for '08?" Yes Terri there is, and with the usual fanfare of Melodic Revolution and the Clinton Chamber of Commerce the public will not be disappointed.
